After a long and successful relationship, we at Oceanhouse Media are deeply saddened to inform you that Hay House has terminated our rights to develop, market and publish apps based on Hay House content. Termination of this agreement is not our preference. Oceanhouse Media had hoped to continue working with Hay House for many years. We have always appreciated working with them and would welcome doing so again, should the appropriate opportunity arise.
These developments have repercussions that unfortunately may impact you
- We are obligated to remove the majority of our Hay House apps from the App Store by Friday, April 8, 2016
- The remaining Hay House apps will gradually be removed over the next 3 years
- We are obligated to cause the Hay House Radio app to cease functioning on Friday, April 8, 2016
- In-app purchases that you have already bought should continue to work
- However, new in-app purchases (even for apps already on your device) may no longer be available for purchase
- Over time, apps that you have purchased may cease to function properly, as we are no longer allowed to update them
